Presentation Title: “Examining the Data – What Driver Training Schools Should Know
Location: Condado Plaza Hilton, San Juan Puerto Rico
Just as their fleet counterparts, truck driver training schools have turned to big data and predictive analytics for their business operations. Additionally, training schools are increasingly including these topics within the curriculum so that when drivers join a fleet as a new employee, they are familiar with the technology, the benefits, and the power of data and predictive analytics to affect driver performance and safety. In his session, Daly will give an overview of predictive analytics, outline which data points can be used for improving driver and school performance, and how training schools can leverage such sophisticated technology to generate new and successful drivers.
Daly is a seasoned expert in the transportation and supply chain industry, and has a passion for logistics, data and analytics. Prior to joining Omnitracs in 2015, he held various management roles at Sirva and Vertis.
