The new Omnitracs Roadnet Anywhere, version 3.8, is here and ready to make the user experience better than ever. The Roadnet Anywhere fleet platform received major performance upgrades which give the users more power within the software in order to get the most value out of the product.
Omnitracs Roadnet Mobile has received some of the most universally helpful upgrades, including the new ability to edit user-defined fields while out in the field. Now users can not only add additional information for drivers whenever they reach a stop, but also include their own information about a stop while they are still there. This eliminates the risk of forgetting or incorrectly recalling information by the end of the day.
Omnitracs Roadnet Insight also received small upgrades that have enormous influence on the user’s experience with the software. The first being that KPIs can now have multiple measures displayed on a single visual. This opens up the door for more in-depth analysis such as filtering the data by one measure, and then sorting the data by worker. This way, instead of just seeing how much each piece of equipment is being used, you can also see which worker is using which piece of equipment and how much.
New in Roadnet Anywhere
The driver can now acknowledge in the system when there was a pick up or delivery, instead of being stuck at a stop when the quantity doesn’t equal the planned amount. This is especially helpful when the planned quantity is zero.
Just like regular orders, transfer orders can be created, imported, or canceled in Roadnet Anywhere. You can even drag and drop the transfer orders within a route to different times or even between different routes.
To populate Omnitracs Territory Planner, you can now create service pattern sets and recurring orders, saving time when preparing for strategic re-routes.
New in Roadnet Mobile
A fleet using a telematics device now has the option to either let workers run Roadnet Mobile with full functionality or let them use it just to follow along with their routes.
Another helpful update to Roadnet Mobile is the ability for workers to assign reason codes whenever stops are canceled and/or labeled as undeliverable. It used to be that drivers would have to wait until they arrive back at the depot at the end of the day before they could explain what happened at the stop. Now, they can instantly assign a reason code to the stop and that allows dispatchers to know exactly what happened and make more proactive decisions about handling their fleets.
New in Omnitracs Roadnet Telematics
We continue to add more and more telematics providers into the Omnitracs Roadnet Telematics software. Omnitracs Mexico is now available as a provider.
