Effective today (April 1), the Qualcomm Enterprise Services (QES) division has been moved into a wholly-owned subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated. We—the new subsidiary—are now named Omnitracs, Inc. Omnitracs, Inc. will have the descriptor, “a Qualcomm company” to leverage our rich technology heritage and to identify us as part of the family of Qualcomm companies. 2012 was a strong year for the Qualcomm Enterprise Services team. We celebrated more than a decade of collaboration with 40 percent of our customers, served more than 160,000 drivers across more than 500 fleets through adoption of our Hours of Service application, and received the 2012 Fleet Manager’s Choice Award for Best Advanced Telematics Supplier in the U.S. from Frost & Sullivan—just to name a few notable achievements.
