For decades, Omnitracs has been a leader in driving businesses forward by delivering the tools and resources transportation and logistics industries need to thrive, and our Channel Partners team plays a critical role in helping us do just that. We have had tremendous success developing our channel partners, who have helped us expand our reach, connect with new customer audiences, and deliver world class customer experiences.

Since we launched our Channel Partner Program in 2012, we have been recognized as a 5-star Partner Program by CRN four times. Here are a few essential things we’ve focused on that have contributed to the mutual success of our partners and customers:

  • Get granular with specific customer needs. Today, Omnitracs customers — spanning from carriers and owner/operators to wholesale distributors and local service companies — manage nearly 1.1 million assets in more than 70 countries. Every member of that massive network is unique and offers a diverse set of challenges and needs. Our partners have deep-dive conversations with our customers in order to gain a deeper understanding of each customer’s business.  This has helped us deliver stronger customized solutions that help boost fleet productivity and efficiency and ensure ongoing compliance. Many of our partners also offer additional services and products that provide a true best-of-breed solution.
  • World-class partner support can enhance the customer experience. We train and certify each of our partners to ensure they help create positive experiences for our joint customers.  This include sales, marketing support, product training, technical assistance, and sales programs. 
  • Help customers reduce costs and maximize benefits. Customers onboarded through an Omnitracs Partner have access to all the same support as direct customers, and they also have the benefit of utilizing an additional level of support from their reseller. In many cases, this gives these customers access to local lower-cost training and implementation support. It also helps provide unique benefits to our customers.  For example, customers that purchase Omnitracs’ network of 1,300 truck dealerships throughout the U.S. and Canada can finance their Omnitracs hardware with their truck purchases and prevent downtime typically associated with aftermarket installations.
