Other Information. “Other Information” is any information that does not and cannot be used to reveal your identity or that of another individual, such as information related to the business you represent or information which has been anonymized and aggregated. We use this information to facilitate our operation of the Sites and for other purposes described below.
2. How Does Omnitracs Collect Information?
We and our service providers collect Personal Data and Other Information in a variety of ways, including:

We collect information through the Sites, e.g., when you request an evaluation or demo, register as a user, contract for or otherwise use our products or services, respond to an online survey, contact us, participate in our contests, subscribe to our email newsletter, download content (e.g. whitepapers), register to use our Sites, or otherwise actively send us data.
We collect information from you offline, such as when you attend one of our events, during phone calls with sales representatives, or when you contact an Omnitracs support representative.
Omnitracs collects information such as your location or your preferred means of communication when you voluntarily provide it. Unless combined with Personal Data, this information does not personally identify you or any other user of the Sites. In connection with chargeable services, we may also collect payment information (e.g., credit card number and related verification information). In each such instance, you will know what data we collect through the Site, because you actively submit it.

In order to enhance our ability to provide relevant marketing, offers, and services to you, we may obtain information about you from other sources, such as public databases like safer.fmcsa.dot.gov, joint marketing partners, social media platforms, as well as from other third parties.
Through Your Browser or Device:
Certain information is collected by most browsers or automatically through your device, such as your Media Access Control (MAC) address, screen resolution, operating system name and version, computer or device manufacturer and model, language, Internet browser type and version, and the name and version of the Sites (such as the Apps) you are using. Collecting IP Addresses is standard practice and is done automatically by many websites, applications and other services. Through Your Use of the Apps:
When you download or use an App, we and our service providers track and collect App usage data, such as the date and time the App on your device accesses our servers, what information has been transmitted to and from the App, and mobile phone number associated with the device (when applicable).
