Flattening the Curve on Speeding Related Crashes: a Knight-Swift Story

Do you notice a spike in crashes in January and February? 65% of collisions in adverse weather conditions happen due to speeding, but it may not be because the driver is going above the speed limit. Rather, it’s due to speeding for the road conditions.

When Brett Sant, of Knight-Swift Transportation, saw this annual spike along with the increase in costs per claims, he decided it was time to bring Omnitracs & SmartDrive into the discussion to see how safety technology could help flatten the crash curve.  Brett will be sharing his challenges, successes and the fleet’s future goals of reducing weather-related events during our webinar on Thursday, June 17th at 11 am CT.

Other take-aways you can expect from this webinar:

  • Why you should take action now to prevent speeding for conditions
  • Where speeding for conditions related crashes happen most often
  • How technology can improve safety and reduce crash severity and frequency

Watch the webinar, and you’ll also have access to the recording a slide-deck.
